Curried Cauliflower Tartlets
Spicy and savory! These only take about 20 minutes to put together, and are sure to vanish at your next party.
Ingredients
- 2 c riced cauliflower
- 0.25 c dry white wine
- pinch of turmeric
- pinch of garlic powder
- 1 tsp hot curry powder
- 2 Tb milk
- 2 Tb cream cheese
- thinly slicked long hot peppers
- flaky sea salt
- 40 phyllo cups
Protocol
- Place cauliflower in small saucepan with white wine and enough water to cover. Bring to boil, cook for about 3 minutes.
- Drain water from the pan.
- Add milk, cream cheese, garlic powder, turmeric, and curry powder.
- Either scrape mixture into food processor or use immersion blender to create a thick paste. If paste seems to have a bit too much moisture, return to heat and cook until extra liquid is gone.
- At this point, the mixture is ready to fill shells! Place about 1.5 tsp of mixture in each shell, top with long hot pepper, and sprinkle with small amount of flaky sea salt.
