Bon Ton Café
The inside of Bon Ton Café feels like a nice Italian restaurant, but the menu tends toward Louisiana and steakhouse classics. The staff grounds the magical menu with hospitality that makes you feel at home. If you want fabulous seafood, or just a deliciously cooked meal, this is the place for you in NOLA. My favorite dish so far is the crab gratin: it is the silkiest, cheesiest, most crab-forward ramekin of comfort food I’ve ever encountered. Their onion rings are battered perfectly and fried into light, golden halos. For dessert, the bread pudding with whiskey sauce (house specialty) is the clear choice. It’s absurdly decadent and boozy, and you will not regret it! The dinner menu is priced for a special night out, but won't leave you penniless.
