Beer and wood-fired pizza make the best bike ride reward

Right on the Schuylkill River, and right across the street from the river's trail, it's difficult to beat the location of In Riva. The Italian restaurant is ideally situated for visiting after a rigorous bike ride. The patio overlooks the trail and river and has plenty of shade. The pizza is wood-fired, a personal favorite variety. The crust has good bubbling and texture, and gets a good char from the ovens. They have some classic and creative pies on their dinner and brunch menus, plus plenty of other Italian inspirations. I gave their classic pepperoni a shot on my first visit, and I'm excited to go back!

Great air bubbles in the crust! Good chewy texture with some crisp at edges.
